And then there were horseys

Anyone who knows me knows that my favourite season is not summer nor winter. But racing season! There is nothing better than dressing up like a real little lady and watching some friendly horseys trot around. It is my ultimate day out! 

Here is what I wore to the Railway Stakes last year. I go every November and plan months ahead! I made the headband myself. This is when my hair was much longer, however there are some extensions in there too. Already thinking about what colour I want to wear this year!

Boots

I love boots. I have been wearing boots with my dresses since I was a tyke. There's something about mixing femininity with roughness that I love. Like tattoos and prom dresses. And happy tunes in a blood soaked Tarantino scene. Sort of.

Rusty

Picked up this little baby at the Ozmosis sale for $49.95! Although it doesn't say it's 'on sale' on the website, if you go in store you shall find it! I love the lace through it. Perfect summer dress! I worked in a surf store in a previous life, and must say, the range has rather improved!

Lazy days & eBay sales...

My Australia Day long weekend was not really one to remember. However I do feel like I accomplished a bit. I had a few killer gym workouts, finalised colour selections for the house I'm building, all without a drop of alcohol.  Weird for me.

Last weekend was a nice weekend. I went shopping with my boyfriend and he said... 

"Right. I'll buy you a new top if I can choose the top". 

And this is what he chose me. Did he do good? I think he did good!

Gypsy

I was literally at work for 5 minutes today before two people called me a Gypsy. Granted - I do look like a Gypsy somewhat. But still... they could have waited an hour or so. 

I have had this top for some time and have only worn it once because  I hate the way it looks with a strapless bra. So I pulled my bodycon skirt up and wore it underneath it as a boobtube. I'm not part of the creative department at my work for nothin'!

Gold Tips

This blouse has been sitting in my wardrobe for some time. I adore the little gold tips on the collar. I usually try and steer clear of white because whenever I wear it, I am destined to spill my V8 Juice on it. Or a beetroot. I am drinking a red berocca right now, so wish me luck.
